Minecraft multi-player connecting issues. Am I the only one with this problem?

It seems that every time someone else gets online and wants to join a game, the host has to either close the game and then quit out to the home screen. Or is forced to hard reset the xbox one to even allow people to join and talk to.

Xbox one - playing minecraf with multiplayer (split screen)

Hi All,

We recently purchased the Xbox One with the minecraft bundle.

I was just wondering if its possible for our kids to play minecraft multi-player with the split screen?

Multiplayer in FIFA Soccer 13

I have been considering purchasing this game, but am curious about how the multi-player mode works. Has anyone noticed any excessive latency issues in multi-player mode? Has anyone witnessed any exploiting in online multi-player?

Your not the only one with this problem. I have it too except a hard reset doesn't fix the issue. My friend and I have played numerous games together online over the years and this is the first one we have ever had a problem connecting to. We were able to
play multi-player together one time but since then it's a constant can't connect to server error even after doing hard resets. Very disappointed in this game and if I could get a refund I would ask for it but they have my money and I am sure won't give it
back. I would prefer them fix the issue though because it's a fun game.

That did not resolve my issue. I still can’t find on Multi player DLC pack 2 in the store. It appears that I am not the only one with this issue either.

I enabled every single option for him on the link you sent me above. Still gets the same error message.

To answer your questions:

I am doing this online using my computer, not the Xbox. He has no problems with minecraft on the Xbox - it can connect to play multi-player just fine. He has no problems with multi-player with other games on the XBox. He doesn't play any other Xbox games
on his chromebook so we have no way of knowing if there are other problems there.

I am having the same issues with the xbox one cod aw. I freeze at some point in every multi-player match. It is just an in game freeze as it sends me to the console home. This only happens on AW.

I have this issue too. It says I am connected with no multi-player issues but I cannot connect to Xbox Live. My 3 friends in the UK are not showing as online either and they are supposed to be right now. I have a found other evidence online that others
are having this issue but Microsoft are not reporting any issues.
