Minecraft migration from Mojang username conflicts.

My kids and I have been using Minecraft Java for several years now and we originally signed up under Mojang.

One of my sons has a Mojang account with one of my email addresses and my other son has a Mojang account with my

wifes email address. I have my own account with a different email address.

My sons signed up for bedrock edition a couple of years back under microsoft so I used my wifes email address and my

email address so the could play bedrock which were always separate because one was Mojang and one was Microsoft.

One of my sons and I finally migrated our mojang accounts as Microsoft asked us to do but after migrating, Minecraft java logs my son in

as the bedrock username for his brother account and I assume the same will happen when I migrate his brother.

When I try a password recovery with his Mojang Java username, the email that the code is sent to is an email address

that I do not recognize. I think that during the migration Microsoft and Mojang were not syncing things right.

We would like to keep the bedrock and java usernames separate and usable especially since we have several java worlds that we have

created and still play from time to time.

How can this be fixed?

To answer your question, you will be able to check your Microsoft Account's Order History for the licenses visible to each of the account you have mentioned in here.
