Minecraft migrating issue

Hi Uso. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

Once a Minecraft account is migrated to a Microsoft account, it is permanently associated with that account. Unfortunately, you can't change this after migrating.

To clarify, you are having issues accessing Minecraft on the account you migrated it to?

If you had already migrated your minecraft account to your dad's account there is no way to migrate it again. According to Minecraft support, this migration is permanent.

This is assuming that's the migration you are referring to. But you can double check with Minecraft support.

I'm glad you solved your problem, and thanks for posting here, it may be that in the future it will help other people with the same problem.

I've sent a ticket, hopefully something gets fixed because I've played for years and to have something like this happen after so long is pretty rough....

If you haven't already, please try the following instructions.

After the migration, you have to ADD a NEW account, and link it to your Microsoft account. Startup will take longer, but it sure works.

On the login prompt in the java launcher, go back. You'll see the Mojang account you had been signing into - ignore it, and add a new account to the launcher. Using the email address associated with the Microsoft account you just migrated to, sign in with the email address and password of your Microsoft account. It's not an elegant migration on the UX side of things, but it does work.
