Minecraft migrate/device change

Discus and support Minecraft migrate/device change in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I no longer have an X-box but now use a PC.     Minecraft migrate/device change


    I no longer have an X-box but now use a PC. I can't change my device on Micorsoft to migrate Minecraft so can't play because officially I have migrated it so it's gone from Mojang. How do I change device as the only options I'm given don't incluse a PC.

    Thank you for clarifying! In this case, your best option may be to contact Minecraft support by submitting a support ticket here:

    Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net)

    Try following the steps there to submit a ticket making sure to select the proper options from the drop-down menu in each category. I believe the following would be the best options based on your question:

    Game Title: Minecraft

    Platform I play on: Windows 10

    What is the Category of Your Questions: Migration Support

    What is the Subject for Your Question: Problems Migrating

    Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

    When you say that you've "Migrated it" are you referring to migrating your Mojang account to a Microsoft account? Do you own Minecraft for Windows? If not, you will have to purchase Minecraft for Windows as Minecraft is not an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Currently, purchasing Minecraft for a console does not grant access to Minecraft on Windows and vice versa. If you are currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, you will have access to Minecraft through the Xbox app on PC.

    Hi,

    I use Minecraft on windows 10 on a PC, it appears microsoft(?) has me as using an x-box. I opened Mincraft to be greeted with a 'migrate' box which I was expecting at some point. I clicked it, followed the instruction but when it came to open it in Microsoft it said there was no device detected and I had to add a device. The drop down menu for devices were for x-box options and microsoft headsets etc. There was an option to add a device manually where I was asked to put in a serial No for my device, which I did but was told it was not recognised. So my account has left Mojang and I cannot find it in Micrsoft.
