Minecraft microsoft/xbox issue

Hello, my friend is having an issue. We both play on MC PS4 edition and for a while now, she has been having issues with her microsoft/xbox account connecting with her ps4. She has tried different accounts to sign into MC with but each time it tells her "this account has already been signed into a playstation network account" when for a fact, we know it has not. She has tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, she has tried multiple methods. Any advice? let me know if this is a question for sony/playstation. thanks.

Hello,

Yes it is in Minecraft launcher, but it was associated with Xbox account, currently the auto login feature also applies to Xbox apps I have installed on my computer, therefore it is both a issue with Minecraft launcher and Xbox, it is kind of also a Microsoft account issue since my Minecraft account was my Microsoft account.

Since your friend is gaming on a PS4, she will need to check this further with PlayStation customer support.

If you are having issues with accessing your Minecraft account after migrating it to the Microsoft Account, especially if the issue is on Minecraft Java, you'd need to contact the Minecraft Support.

But if the problem is on Minecraft Bedrock. check if you can sign in to this page: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/login

Use the Sign-in with Microsoft button.

Do you have issues with your other Xbox games or just with Minecraft?

Have you already tried to reinstall the Minecraft Launcher?

Please also try to reset your Microsoft Store and Xbox app.

For us to isolate your issue, can you please provide the exact error message? Is your Minecraft linked to a different Microsoft account that you are not aware of?
