Minecraft Microsoft Download issues

No, you just sent me link to download Minecraft: Java Edition, but i have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Windows 10 Edition) from Microsoft Store.

There are two ways to install Minecraft Launcher, first is through Microsoft Store (Minecraft Launcher) and second is through Minecraft website (Download Minecraft & Server Software | Minecraft). Since you have issues with Minecraft Launcher, we recommend your try to uninstall the launchers you have installed and make sure you are using the correct account on Microsoft Store.

Then, visit Minecraft website to check your account that should show no Buy now option for any of the game versions of Minecraft (Login | Minecraft).

Next, try to install the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store and see if issue persist.

The last resort is to download the launcher and install it from Minecraft website. See if issue persist for the game.

Given that you most likely were playing Minecraft Java previously, it could be that you have downloaded the Xbox app/Microsoft Store Minecraft Launcher, which could be causing issues for you. To fix this, go to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download and download the Minecraft Launcher for your Operating System, and then sign in with the account that you've migrated your Mojang account to.

Understand that you've spent a lot of Minecoins on a Minecraft world and it keeps saying “Downloading”. Understand that this issue is causing you problems. To solve your problem



Close Minecraft completely and restart it. A simple restart may solve the problem of stuck downloads.

Make sure your internet connection is stable. If the connection is unstable or slow, it may cause the download to stall.



You can go to Settings > Apps, find Minecraft, click Advanced Options, and then select Reset or Repair to remove corrupted data that may be causing the download issue.



If nothing else works, try uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft.



Make sure that both Minecraft and Windows are updated, and download-related bugs may be fixed in a patch.



If none of the above methods work, contact Minecraft support to report the issue. Provide as much detail as possible, such as purchase receipts and instances where you are stuck in “downloading”.
