    Minecraft lost and recovered save files are corrupted


    About 1 year ago I accidentally formated flash drive with my minecraft saves after year I recovered them and when I tried to put them in the Xbox it says its corrupted and when I tries to import with horizon it says invalid STSF package

    Pls help

    Unfortunately unless you had the files backed up on another flash drive or the cloud, there is no way to recover the files for use on the Xbox. Use of outside software or another company to retrieve the files would violate the terms of service and as such
    cannot be discussed on the forums.

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    I'm afraid if a save file is lost during the transfer process or corrupt it can not be recovered.

    As to why it may have happened I cant tell you but hopefully someone else can shed some light on it.
