Minecraft Log-in issue PS4

Found this from Lynzing and it worked!!

So i finally fixed mine. Phew~

i went to applications saved data on the ps4 and went to system storage - minecraft - i then deleted any corrupted files and saved data.

This reset my minecraft to default and went signed in again and followed the steps once more.

In order for cross platform to work, you need to have a

• fully set up microsoft account. (Verified email & username/profile).

• fully set up xbox account (verfied email and username.)

I reset the game and it worked. I hope this helps!

I downloaded Minecraft on PS4 and attempted to log in with a newly created Microsoft account using a phone number instead of an email. Microsoft changed my account username at some point in the process. I cannot sign into any Microsoft account on my PS4
and cannot unlink anything, because nothing is linked. I just want to basically go back to factory default and start over. Anyone know how?

I ha e never been asked to log into minecraft as its on the ps4. The remote connect login page doesn't show any gamer tag. Only asks you for your Microsoft login details. Email and password. I've downloaded the xbox app and logged in with the same details
to check and it's the correct account for when I had an xbox. But when using the same details on the remote connect for ps4 minecraft, it's logging me in with a completely different gamer tag and gamer tag picture.

To add to the issue I've logged out of that account on minecraft on the ps4 and tried again using remote connect on the laptop (to see if there's some issue with logging on with my phone) and after entering my email address and password, the ps4 minecraft
says that it will not log in with these details as I've already logged in with the gamer tag I don't recognise. It let's you sign out but it says I can only use that a account.

I am having the same issue. I can't log into my microsoft account In minecraft on ps4 however, I have no issue logging into my account on the xbox website and Microsoft website so what's the problem and how do I fix it?

You can only link one PSN account to one Minecraft account, if you disconnect it, you won't be able to link another PSN account to it.

I took this from the Minecraft site:

"WARNING: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation Network account can be associated with a different account.

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account that made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation accounts can only be re-linked to the original account."
