    Minecraft Locating Server issue


    Hi all,

    My son is trying to connect to my Minecraft world, but we are getting stuck while Minecraft is trying to Locate the Server. It worked before, but somehow it doesn’t anymore.

    The strange thing is that I see his character in my game, while his screen is ‘stuck’ with Locating Server. Also, I am not able to sleep, which indicates his character being in my game.

    When my daughter tries to connect with her account (from the same device (XBOX)), we don’t have any issues. So, connection is possible.

    Like I said, they are playing on a XBOX and we try to connect to my game on a Nintendo Switch.

    It looks like this has something specific to do with my son’s account/character.

    Any idea’s on how to fix this?

    Hi i just got back to the form yes ive tried another server and it worked a-okay and it was from the same friend who made it so i am confused if this is a problem on minecrafts side or if its just user error

    Could you try joining to another server?

    Just to test if the issue can be with this specific server , maybe the owner moves some settings on it

    This is also a problem for the PS4 Bedrock version.This has also been happening to be. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, backing up saves deleting them and downloading them for months but nothing has worked. Is there any fix to this
    seeming as it's been happening for at least a year
