Minecraft loaded in old world and freezes

Do you have any issues connecting to Xbox Live or is this the only game that is not working?

At this point the next step would be to
soft factory reset the Xbox. This will restore the operating system to defaults like if it was a new Xbox, while your games and apps stay intact. This is important to clear any bugs that could be corrupting the system. Just make sure that you have your
account login information since you will need to re-add your accounts to your Xbox during the set up.

Thanks for your response. You may want to attempt an
Offline System Update, this will install the latest version of the Xbox operating system which should correct any software issues possibly affecting games.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're able to load up Minecraft but after 30 seconds to a minute the game freezes and stays that way? I recommend you power down the console and unplug it from its power
source for at least 2 minutes. After the time has passed plug the Xbox One X back in and give it another try. If it continues to freeze at that point I suggest you try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Are you playing off of a disc or from a digital

You may want to try clearing the MAC address too. To do that just go to your network settings, click advanced network settings, alternate MAC address, select clear, then reset. Your console will restart at that point.
