minecraft license missing

After the TU 48 update, Minecraft disappeared from my xbox one console. I originally purchased it on 360 for $20, then upgraded to xbox one when it was $5 back when that was a thing. I've been playing all along on xbox one since then, but now the game
is gone from my games. When I go to the store, it asks me to re-purchase at full price.

Please help me find my game. I tried deleting my profile from the xbox one and re-downloading it as someone had suggested on the forums, but that had no effect.

Some accounts are unable to play downloaded games after we transfered content licence to new xbox

after completing the license transfer did you re-download minecraft to update the licenses. Try deleting minecraft and downloading it again. That should hopefully update the licenses.

Missing minecraft game licesene

Right so I have played Xbox one edition of minecraft before and i haven't played it for a year or 2. And I've now decided to play it again and it's asking for me to pay for the entire game again, and believe my minecraft game license has gone missing. I've
tried many things like restarting my Xbox and nothing's changed, big issue.

it appears you have got it right, I can see the game under ready to install on my son's account. I don't remember purchasing it there, but nevertheless it is there. Thanks for the help.

If it's only Minecraft it means that it is the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox only, the license of Minecraft Bedrock for PC is a different license. This is why we're experiencing the issue, xTCN123x.

No need to apologize for the missing detail, it is actually very important. The issue might be related to the fact that you are using a different Microsoft account on your laptop than the one you used to buy Minecraft. This can cause some conflicts with the license verification and prevent you from playing the game.
