    Minecraft Launcher NOT keeping login details, NOT allowing me to play offline


    I live rural, and on rainy days the satellite is rubbish and there is no net.

    I rebuilt my computer and was then CONSTENTLY directed to the Microsoft "store" to download my the new MC launcher:

    Now, EVERY TIME I open the MC launcher, it asks for my user name and password. every 2nd or 3rd attempt a red box appears in the top right for 1/4 of a second and i can never read the whole thing.

    I can open MC launcher, log into MC and play for 10min. if it 'turn it off and turn it back on again' it will still ask for my login details AGAIN.

    I USED to be able to play offline and be "loggin in" for days at a time. now, I cannot play at all as the launcher wont let me pass the log in screen when i dont have internet. i am logged into my PC with my windows log in, SURELY the same damn login can be used to 'verify' i own the damn game.

    I cannot find anywhere a "save my details" button or anything. NEVER had these issues before being "directed" to the stupid microsoft store launcher

    I have tried "re-installing" MC Launcher several times. same issue.

    PLEASE FIX THIS

    If that doesn't work, try using the other version of the launcher which you can download from this link, https://aka.ms/minecraftClientWindows.

    Please login to your account using this launcher and see if it lets you launch your game.

    A Minecraft account is essentially the same as a Microsoft account. If you want to play Minecraft, all you need to do is purchase it from the Store and log in with the Microsoft account you used to make the purchase.

    For example, if you're playing on PC, you should download the Minecraft Launcher, sign in with the account that made the purchase, and you'll be able to download and play it without any issues:
