    Minecraft Launcher/Minecraft Migration


    During the Minecraft Migration, I transferred my Mojang account to the mircosoft account, to which Mircosoft supposedly owns Minecraft. As I tried to launch the Minecraft Launcher, it says that I did not have/buy minecraft yet.

    Minecraft migration game lost

    If you received the confirmation email about the migration, it migrated properly for sure. Please make sure you download the right version of Minecraft (Java or Minecraft for Windows) and use this Windows 7/8 launcher for now.

    2. Delete all accounts that are in the launcher

    3. In the launcher log in with the email and password of the Microsoft account you used to migrate

    Hello,

    I had the same issue today, logging into the minecraft website and migrating there too fixed it for me. I migrated first on the minecraft launcher and it just said I had a demo, but after migrating on the website too it worked for me.

    I've seen some other users fixed it by changing the minecraft version to a different one until it worked.

    Hope Microsoft comes out with a fix soon.

    Oh, if you're looking for Minecraft Java Edition simply sign-in on the Microsoft account that you used in migrating your Mojang to Minecraft Launcher and you should be able to install and launch the game from there.
