    Minecraft launcher (Java edition) not launching from xbox app


    My Minecraft launcher isn't launching even after trying uninstalling and installing it a 100 times

    It always shows the same error and 2 pop-ups which i am attaching below.
    Pls guide me how to launch my minecraft as per microsoft the minecraft java edition has also joined the game pass with a new launcher but i am not able to launch that launcher
    I even tried downloading the game from official site . then also it showed same error.

    Minecraft will not open via launcher, only through microsoft store.

    Hello mimim2,

    The Minecraft launcher you are referring to is only for the Java edition of Minecraft. The Java edition and Windows 10, are two separate games. In order to launch and play Minecraft from the launcher you are using in the last image, you must buy the Java
    edition from the site, not the Windows 10 version. Minecraft Java Edition | Minecraft. Annoying I know, but when Microsoft acquired Minecraft they released
    their own version of the game on their platform. Hope this helps

    If the issues are on the Java launcher installer, please, log in the Microsoft store app with the account that made the purchase then look for the Minecraft launcher and install it from there then log in in the launcher with the account that made the purchase on the java section and finally install the java edition

    it sounds like your trying to launch it from the java edition launcher menu. if bought with windows store it will be in the start menu as an app.

    The add-ons included with the Deluxe Edition are for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, not for Minecraft Java Edition.

    To play Minecraft Bedrock Edition, you can do it essentially the same way you did with Minecraft Java Edition. From the Minecraft Launcher, look for "Minecraft for Windows" on the left side of the app, install it, and launch the game from there. That's the name Minecraft Bedrock Edition goes by in the Launcher.

    Once you install and launch the game, you should be able to access the add-ons included with your purchase.

    Oh, if you're looking for Minecraft Java Edition simply sign-in on the Microsoft account that you used in migrating your Mojang to Minecraft Launcher and you should be able to install and launch the game from there.
