"Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account." 0x803F8001

I just recently switched Microsoft accounts and this error message pops up when I try and download Minecraft. however, switching accounts has never stopped me from playing before.

Since I own the game I get my download from minecraft.net, but this is the only time is hasn't worked. I even tried getting the Minecraft launcher from the Microsoft store, and the same message came up.

Does this have something to do with the recent migration of Minecraft accounts? Like do I now not own Minecraft because Mojang accounts don't exist anymore? I do not understand.

What you don't have it's the Minecraft launcher license, the launcher and the game are separate, you need to go to the Microsoft store app and look for the launcher next to the play button you will have the option to get it, press on it, it's free

You keep sending me to the same thing, it says the same thing each time I install it
