Minecraft Launcher Installer and Minecraft for Windows + Launcher refuse to install

Search for ''Minecraft Launcher'' in the Xbox app, install, log in with your Microsoft account on the launcher, select Minecraft For Windows and install.

Thank you so much for your help. I drafted and posted an entire response to your question after repairing the Microsoft Store and trying to download the Minecraft Launcher. As soon as I was finished I looked over and Minecraft was installed and able to start running. Thank you so much, I can't believe I missed that even though I did the same thing to the Launcher itself. Have a great New Year!

1. I have updated everything every way I know how

2. I no longer have any error messages showing up even if I disconnect the wifi ( I had to do this to find the error messages in the past)

3. When I open the Minecraft Launcher it asks if I have read and agreed to the terms and service, after checking the box and clicking install it brings me to the loading page, when I'm there nothing happens, the loading bar doesn't progress and just says 'Making things awesome...' which isn't really happening. When I check the download progress on the Microsoft Store or the Xbox App it just says 0%.

4. My family member is the one with Game Pass and therefore they are logged into the Xbox App, but when I change this account to my own it doesn't make a difference that I can see.

5. My Microsoft account is logged into the Microsoft Store while my family member with Xbox Game Pass is logged into the Xbox App

6. I have transferred my log in from Mojang to Microsoft

To isolate your issue better, we will be asking for few questions:

To confirm, is your Windows 10 and Xbox apps up-to-date?

May we ask for any error message you encounter now after doing some troubleshooting (just in case you are still encountering them)? Please post a screenshot and conceal any personal information.

What will happen if you launch the Minecraft Launcher?

Is the Microsoft account with Xbox Game Pass under PC settings > account > emails & accounts are the same?

Is the Microsoft Store and Xbox app logged in to the same account?

Just to confirm, are you done migrating your Mojang account (Minecraft) to Microsoft Account?
