Minecraft launcher has no options - can't update

Hi RicoViviers, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly try to uninstall and reinstall the Minecraft Launcher, RicoViviers and make sure that you will be reinstalling the launcher through Microsoft Store App or Xbox App.

Go to the Microsoft store and search for the Minecraft launcher, where it has the option ‘Get‘ next to ‘Play’. Choosing ,get, will update the launcher and it should work….L Microsoft

When I click buy from the Minecraft launcher it takes me to this website https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition?ref=Launcher I'm not logged in and it has the option to purchase Minecraft but after logging in to the that website with same Microsoft account that I had logged into the Minecraft launcher with the purchase option is replaced with Already own Minecraft? Download it again. and the launcher download button.

Same here can't play. When I try to launch the launcher it updates 3 quarters then gives me an error saying "Unable to Update Minecraft Native Launcher"

Thank you for the update. Kindly repair and reset the Minecraft Launcher by following the steps below:

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for Minecraft Launcher > Advanced Options > Repair > Reset.

Restart the PC.
