Minecraft launcher gets redirected, and when i try to download it, it send me here

Welcome to Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well.

We understand that you are trying to launch Minecraft Launcher and is unable to because the launcher will redirect you to Gaming Services. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, we will do anything in our capability to assist you with your concern.

This issue is caused of outdated Gaming Services or you might need to perform repair or reset PC or Microsoft Store or Xbox apps. In that case, please try to check the suggested troubleshooting below.

1. Install PC updates including Optional Update. Guide - Update Windows and if you have issues with update, please check the troubleshooting steps available here - Troubleshoot problems updating Windows.
   
2. Note: Please make sure you know your credentials before proceeding to the next steps. If in doubt, try to manually sign in here: Microsoft Account | Home.
   
   • Log out from Xbox app and Microsoft Store. Make sure there is no account remain logged into those apps.
     
   • Reset/Repair Microsoft Store and Xbox app (if using). Guide - Repair apps and programs in Windows.
     
   • Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
     
   • Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:
     
     • Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
       
     • In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
       
       Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
       
     • Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and try again.
       
3. Restart and disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy, firewall and PC Optimizer.
   
4. Relaunch Microsoft Store and sign in to your account and let us know how it went.

I don't get an error code accept for "an error occurred on our end" and a manual install also does not work.

Also is their three packages for the minecraft launcher?

One that is for both java edition and inecragt for Windows

The second java edition

The third minecraft for windows.

I did eventually get a version to work since the old launcher redirected me to the new launcher which I installed and did let me install minecraft for windows version.

However the store version which downloads java edition and something else never worked.

Not by reseting not by uninstalling and reinstalling not by downloading from the minecraft website and manually downloading.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I have searched Minecraft for Windows on the store and all it comes up with is "Minecraft for Windows Starter Collection" and "Minecraft for Windows + Launcher" I do not own the starter collection, as I am redirected to pay £25 pounds when I click on it, and the Minecraft for Windows + Launcher simply takes me to the launcher when i click play.
