Minecraft Launcher asking me to buy the Minecraft Java Edition even though I have bought it

With everything we've done this seems to be an issue with the account itself. So, at this point you need to seek help from Mojang for this issue using the link below. They have the tools and expertise to sort this out once and for all.

If you use that username and password on the Minecraft Launcher, does it now give you the option to install or run Minecraft?

If it does not give you those options that would mean your Minecraft Java Edition is in a different account.

Just to be clear if you visit https://account.microsoft.com/ on a web browser and log-in using your Minecraft credentials, can you login to the account.

We understand that you are having some issues with logging in to your Minecraft Java Edition account. It appears that you are informed when logging in that you have not purchased the game even if you actually have.

After consulting with colleagues on this issue if is our conclusion that this is an issue with how you login. So, what we want you to do is logout from the Minecraft launcher. Once done log-in back using the green button in the photo below.





If that does not resolve the issue, please visit account.microsoft.com and log-in using the same credentials and confirm if you can login to your Mojang account that has been migrated as a Microsoft account.
