Minecraft Launcher and Windows 10

Are you using the Windows 10/11 launcher or the Windows 7/8 launcher?

Please go to the Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it. The Windows 10 launcher is giving this error for some users.

Make sure you sign in with the correct Microsoft Account used for the Migration.

Also, uninstall the current Windows 10/11 launcher before installing the Windows 7/8 launcher.

So I went to my library, and the only things that were related to minecraft were the launcher and minecraft dungeons, no sign of minecraft for windows 10 there.

Are you running the Java edition, or the Windows 10 version? It looks like the Launcher is only for Windows 10 and 11.

Have you purchased the game straight from the Minecraft website? Get Minecraft | Minecraft That would be the way to play on Windows 7.

You can also try downloading this version from the Microsoft Store to see if it runs on your PC.
