Minecraft language

Hi, I have purchased the disc version of Minecraft Xbox One edition from a friend (I live in France) and when I booted it up, the game was in French. Is there any way I can change the language? (I can't seem to find the setting for that)

On your console, Go to Settings > system > language and location.

Change the language to English, the region to USA or UK and leave the location at where you live. Relaunch the game and it should be in English.

7 year old got minecraft on xbox one and somehow changed the language from English to ??? and now we cant change it back. We were told to de install and re install but comes back in same language. Aghhhh! Can anyone help?

Hi sorry your Minecraft world was partially erased, I would contact Minecraft support, I changed the submit form there to match your language
