同様の現象に遭遇し、状況が悪化しました。

jewels of rome以外の広告が出るまで強制終了と再起動を繰り返しましたが、10回程度起動しても同じ広告が出るようになってしまい、Minesweeperのアドベンチャーの画面に進むことができません。それどころか、それ以外の初級、中級、上級、ディリーを選んでも同じ広告が表示され先に進むことができなくなりました。

さらにいうと、

1) 当該広告に表示される「Free!」 ったかな？のボタンをクリックしMicrosoft Storeアプリが起動することを期待したのですが、それも表示されません。

2) Microsoft Storeアプリを手動で起動し、Jewels of romeを手動でインストールしてTutorialの途中まで進め、それは終了しアンインストールしない状況で、Minesweeperを起動しましたがやはり同じ広告が表示されMinesweeperのゲー 画面を見ることはできませんでした。

もう私は二度とこのマシンでMinesweeperをすることはできないのでしょうか？

Hi. Those games you play are always going to have advertisements. If you pay for the subscription, the advertisements can be removed along with you earning more XPs.
