Minecraft Java shows "play demo" on launcher

The play demo is a known issue with the launcher that can affect some players. But the username showing on the Minecraft website is different than the one you were playing on your Mojang account? Were you playing Minecraft Java or Bedrock?

And do you see your Minecraft purchases on the Minecraft website on this account?

May I know if you have the confirmation email about migration progress in the Microsoft account you're using to sign in Minecraft?

If you have it, and also you have proof of purchase for Java edition, I think the next step will be contact Minecraft support, attach these two things and ask them to look further on your account and finally manually put the game license on your account.

By the way, I heard that some players experience issue with the latest launchers.

Try downloading and installing the Launcher marked as Windows 7/8 from this page - https://minecraft.net/download

Nothing applies to me on the page you sent me. I already migrated my account months ago and just now it is showing me play demo. I only have one microsoft account.

Done. My Xbox Profile is now in sync with the Launcher and the Minecraft website, however I still see "Play Demo" on the launcher even though I've purchased Java a few years back.
