Minecraft Java not launching (any more)

No it does spike but it just stays spiked it does not drop or do anything

When you see Java in Task Manager, does the CPU or memory usage spike for a few seconds and then drop, or does it stay low the whole time?

Thanks for the screenshot. You’ll need to remove the custom JVM arguments, as they aren’t default and can block the game window.

Clear everything in the JVM Arguments box, leave it blank, and click Save. After that, try launching the game again.

Try this:

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher.

3. Hover over the latest version (it should say something like "Latest release"), click the three dots, then select "Edit".

4. Check that there are no extra Java arguments entered at the bottom.

5. Launch that version and see if it works.

No I'm not using any mods or custom launch settings.
