    Minecraft Java joining Realms GLITCH??


    I'm trying to join a friend's realm on Minecraft Java. They've sent me an invite. When I go into my Minecraft menu... on the Realms button I can SEE the invite icon. However, when I click the Realms button, it just gives me the pop up to BUY a Realm or get a free Trial of Realms, and there are NO OTHER options. I can either buy Realms, get a free trial, or back out. It WILL NOT let me get past that pop up to accept my friend's invitation. My friend insists you do not need a Realm subscription yourself in order to join someone else's Realm. So WHY does this keep happening and HOW do I fix it??? It's really starting to upset me and I cannot find any other advice on this issue or how to fix it via internet search thus far....

    This is a workaround solution if you've been invited to a Realms server and the invitation icon is showing on the main menu Realms button, but you can't see the envelope button to accept it.

    - First try pressing F11 twice on the Realms screen. If that doesn't work:

    - Turn Fullscreen off in Video Settings to switch to Windowed mode.

    - Go back to the Realms screen from main menu.

    - Resize the window small enough until the popping invitation button appears next to the Minecraft Realms logo at the top, and click it (should have a red exclamation mark).

    See if this helps and please let me know.

    dabear64 has Minecraft Windows 10 and bought a realm (da bear clan) and who has Minecraft Java can not get into the realm. has been invited, yet I see no invitations to join. has tried the email link to the realm as well,
    but still can't link together or join or play in da bear clan realm. Please advise so we can enjoy our new minecraft realm.
