Minecraft Java Installation problem.

I've had Minecraft Java for over a year now, but recently I couldn't find the app on my pc anymore so I decided to reinstall it. When reinstalling, it keeps prompting me to "renew my Gold subscription" and won't let me install it. I already have the game files from when I first bought the game a year ago as well. To my knowledge, PC games don't require a Gold subscription to play so, I don't know why this is happening. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 6+ times and it still won't go away.

We were using the TLauncher because the official Minecraft Launcher couldn't download and install Minecraft Java Edition. It however could download and install Minecraft windows version. So, we used the TLauncher based on an advise in a video on youtube. So, the TLauncher enabled us to install the Java edition and to use it for single player. Thereafter, we tried to use it with the minecraft launcher but this attempt was mot successful.

So, our problem is with using it for multiplier

A new Launcher is being offered for download which supports Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. Unless you have such a subscription we are advising for the present not to install this new Launcher

If you are having issues installing this new Launcher for Windows 10/11, or after installation you are unable to log in (e.g. it is apparently unavailable on your Windows Store account): please download and install the older Launcher marked as Windows 7/8 from this page - https://minecraft.net/download

The new Launcher for Windows 10/11 has only recently been released, and judging by many posts on the subreddit it is not working correctly for some users. We recommend using the above mentioned older version for Windows 7/8 until these issues are resolved.

If the issues are on the Java launcher installer, please, log in the Microsoft store app with the account that made the purchase then look for the Minecraft launcher and install it from there then log in in the launcher with the account that made the purchase on the java section and finally install the java edition

Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.

going thought the install again but it's the old version. i had a problem with this when i played the beta also. i am not on the beta now i think. my ownership of minecraft was when the minecraft xbox came out and i bought that xbox one with minecraft and a version of minecraft for windows also. i had been playing minecraft on java from the 19?? when it was free but i lost that and had to buy java to get back into the java scene. oh well. now i want to play the 1.19.0 version on the xbox but haven't been able to get there yet...
