    So a while ago I had problems with playing Minecraft Java edition and I managed to get that fixed but now I'm having another weird problem. Minecraft was working for me for a little while but now when I load Minecraft and press play it loads until about 95% then stops and brings up a program called OpenJDK Platform binary and it says that OpenJDKplatform binary is not responding and so my game sort of crashes and I cant play. Is this a technical file with OpenJDK itself and if so how do I fix this?

    Minecraft will not open via launcher, only through microsoft store.

    Hello mimim2,

    The Minecraft launcher you are referring to is only for the Java edition of Minecraft. The Java edition and Windows 10, are two separate games. In order to launch and play Minecraft from the launcher you are using in the last image, you must buy the Java
    edition from the site, not the Windows 10 version. Minecraft Java Edition | Minecraft. Annoying I know, but when Microsoft acquired Minecraft they released
    their own version of the game on their platform. Hope this helps

    Minecraft Java can only be bought from the Minecraft Launcher, or directly on the Minecraft website (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft...). The discount is only for Minecraft for Windows, which is a different title (very similar, but it isn't the classic Java edition).

    Windows 10 minecraft and java edition are both two different types of Editions unfortunately you would have to buy the java edition on the minecraft website.
