    I have purchased Minecraft Java Edition for my PC, £20 it was. I cannot play multiplayer as it says i have to change my Microsoft settings. I have tried to configure my privacy settings, but every time i click on 'privacy settings' it locates me to the
    xbox support page, my account is registered above the age if 18 so that can't be the case, please help. I feel like i've been scammed.

    My account was charged for game pass for pc and it says i have it but i cant play Minecraft Java

    As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

    Xbox owns W10 edition not Java edition
