Minecraft java edition is not available even though I own windows edition

We understand that you are unable to launch Minecraft for windows edition. If you are able to sign in to the websites without experiencing any issues, we suggest reaching out to Mojang Support and for more assistance. Also make sure not signed into Minecraft on any other device.



You can contact them by submitting a support request and create a ticket here: Submit Request – Home (minecraft.net)



Once you are on the site, we recommend that you select the following options from the appropriate drop-down menus:



Language – Preferred language (If your preferred language is not available, additional translation services may be required)

Game Title – Minecraft

Platform I play on - ( PC, Xbox Series X|S )

What is the category of your questions? – Technical Support

What is the topic of your questions? – Game performance

Well, the thing is I can still launch Minecraft windows perfectly fine I can still play it and everything. Its just that a little bit back it said that I could get java edition as well since I own windows edition.

As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

I have tried this already and it does not work.

The problem is that when Iog into microsoft and look at my owned games, it appears that my microsoft account does not own minecraft java edition and only owns the bedrock edition, even though i've been playing Java edition on it daily up till now.
