MINECRAFT - It just got a whole lot easy to play with randoms

So I jumped on Minecraft Xbox 360 this afternoon, and there was this Update. Minecraft now has mini games ^u^, where even non friends and everyone and anyone on Xbox Live can join your mini game hunger games.

I'm sure the Xbox 1 version is out too, will check later tonight. But it would be appreciated if no one shifted this thread to the Minecraft forum section. As this forum section on this site is pretty much the only forum section on this site which isn't
a ghost town. Some of my friends have been kicking randoms out of their world because we're so use to only friends being able to join the host. The maps look great. And I think it's a great idea for Microsoft since they acquired the game, to bring this sort
of thing out. So it just got a whole lot easier to make more friends and meet heaps of peps who play this game which is at the top of the Xbox Live Activity Charts. Even though my Xbox 360 friends list is full, with Xbox 1, it's friends list can take I think
1,000+. I'm not quite looking for that, but this idea Microsoft came up with, just makes it a whole lot easier to meet everyone who plays Minecraft on Xbox.

Sprinting just got a whole lot more sensitive?

Im not sure if im the only one experiencing this but today specifically ive noticed that for some reason my character will sprint randomly when im moving and sometimes will still remain sprinting even when i move the control stick back to center. As we all
know you initiate sprint by double tapping the movement stick in the forward direction. it used to be that you had to tap fairly quickly in order for this to work. Im worried that they increased the window for initiating this command in a hotfix or something.

I troubleshooted this in a couple of ways,

I hard restarted my Xbox - No Change

I used a different controller - No change

I might re-install minecraft just in case but at this point im fairly certain its a problem with an update, not with the install since this has only recently started happening. Anyone else have any info on this?

So I created my own mini game and within seconds, someone who is not my friend joins. It looks like Microsoft has torn down the social barrier. Because usually Minecraft on Xbox is not an open multiplayer lobby like Halo and Forza etc. Usually in order to
play Minecraft multiplayer, you have to be friends with someone in the game for the game to let you join, and usually you have to be friends with the host especially if your account privacy settings are like strict or if your parents have made it that way,
or if friends of friends is turned off.

 

Yeah saw the Update on the dashboard but didn't know what it had. Thanks. I'll have to check the PS4 Version to if it got one as well.
