Minecraft isn't signing in with Microsoft

If you deleted the old launcher, then I don't believe there's a way to get it back. Also to answer your question, that isn't a bug. When Minecraft accounts were Migrated to Microsoft, your Minecraft account was converted to the Microsoft account you merged it to. This means, you can't use the Minecraft account to sign in anymore and only the Microsoft account will work.

Sorry to hear about that, however, you first need to ensure that you're signed in on the Microsoft store app using the same account that you used to buy the game. If not, unfortunately, Java isn't shareable.

If yes, try signing out and signing in again on your Microsoft store app, Xbox app and Minecraft launcher.

because minecraft is microsoft/xbox, to sign into minecraft you sign into xbox live, even on playstation.

If you were signed in to a Microsoft Account in Minecraft, your Marketplace purchases will have been saved to that account and can be restored by signing Minecraft into the same Microsoft Account now.

If you were not signed in to a Microsoft account, it may not be possible to restore the purchases. The best thing you could do in this case would be to contact Minecraft support as advised in the previous message for definitive advice.
