Minecraft isn't appearing for the $5 amount when I own the 360 console

Discus and support Minecraft isn't appearing for the $5 amount when I own the 360 console in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased Minecraft for the Xbox 360 on 5/16/2012 and haven't played for a bit and I'm inquiring to transfer the item to the Xbox one for the $4.99...     Minecraft isn't appearing for the $5 amount when I own the 360 console


    I purchased Minecraft for the Xbox 360 on 5/16/2012 and haven't played for a bit and I'm inquiring to transfer the item to the Xbox one for the $4.99 amount but shows the full listing price of $19.99. I saw the discount on the website and on my Xbox One
    before, but now it doesn't appear $4.99 on either the website or on my console, only the full listing price of $19.99. How can i get Minecraft for the Xbox one $4.99?

    Minecraft price issue

    I own minecraft on the 360 but when i go to buy the Xbox one version, it tells me i have to pay 20$ instead of 5$. I've tried starting up minecraft on the 360 and then going to the xbox one but it didn't do anything. Any solutions?

    Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Discount

    I can't buy Minecraft: Xbox One Edition for the discount price of $5 even though I own the 360 version on disc and logged into the same Microsoft Account! (I'm also not purchasing it on this account.) I've seen lots of people upgrade to the Xbox One
    Edition for $5 because they have the Xbox 360 version. Also, if I buy the $10 Minecraft Season Pass for Minecraft Xbox 360 version will it transfer over to Xbox One? Thanks!

    I've been trying to get a definitive answer myself even when I met all requirements stated in the FAQ and on the web page. My discussion with Microsoft support was that after updating I need to PLAY the game for 72 hours before it would register for the
    discount not just waiting 48-72 hours since you launched the game and updated. I've got my 360 running now and will continue for 72 hours straight on the Minecraft main menu so that "Minecraft is playing" on my profile. Here's a segment of that chat from yesterday:

    "Jibriel: Alright, [Me] upon further investigating the issue with Minecraft , you have to play it online for a minimum of 72 hours, so our server can detect your account.

    Me: Per the FAQ it said to connect so that it showed it on Live then wait 48-72 hours. I know it has been longer than a week though.

    Jibriel: Upon further investigating my previous customer that have similar issue, it is proven and effective that you must play it online for more than 72 hours on your 360 console just to register your profile to our system."

    After 72 hours I will let you know my results but I'm just passing along the solution that was provided to me. If you can let us know you results from this solution I'm sure we'd all greatly appreciate it.

    Alright, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is affected by this. Thanks for your advice, hopefully they can solve this problem or give the game to us for the price listed on their website for owning the game.

    Hi,

    Minecraft Xbox One Edition does appear in my order history, which I bought in 2015, but the newer Minecraft (Bedrock Edition) which I would've installed in late 2017 doesn't appear.

    On the website you linked, Minecraft appears with a 'buy now' button, which takes me to the Microsoft Store, where it says "Install, you own this", similarly to the Store on the console itself.

    No,i'm afraid not.Each console has their own version of Minecraft so you can't play between the two consoles.

    The only time you can do that is on backwards compatible games but Minecraft isn't backwards compatible.
