Minecraft is not supported to my PC anymore.

Hi! So i have a Windows 7 PC that has Windows 10 programing, and I had gotton Minecraft on it when i first got it years ago. I keep looking this up but it seems that nobody else is having the same problems as me. It told me that i am not gonna recive updates
anymore, and that i wont be able to play multiplayer starting in october. I find this a problem as to i play minecraft almost every day with my friends, and won’t be able to play with them. Every time i look this up aswell, it keeps saying its only happening
to mobile players. Is there anyway i can fix this problem?

Hi there HelloBea unfortunately i'm very aware of your issue but due to Minecraft stoping support on older devices/platforms and less powerful systems in October 2020 unfortunately unless you get a new device or potentially upgrade your windows 8 device
to windows 10 you will know longer be able to play with your friends on any new minecraft update. but if your friends continue to run the old versions of minecraft that you might still be able play with them.

I worry that Microsoft does not care more about PC users and games ... I can quote Minecraft support (purchased by Microsoft) but do not know how to support! You bought the company and forgot that you have to support the game! Maybe they really think that
everyone in the universe has Console and the PC's have been destroyed (so no need to give support anymore)

Hey steven, sorry you're missing your Minecraft world! I understand how concerning that must be.

What version of Minecraft are you playing (i.e. Java, Bedrock)?

It's possible that your PC installed some updates that might have changed the directory to the Minecraft world saves.

Press Win+R and in the Run window type %tmp%, an Explorer window will open. Look in that folder for a folder named minecraft.
