    Minecraft iPad LAN games not connecting


    Hello,

    I have two kiddos that are trying to connect together on a Minecraft LAN game via WiFi on their iPads. If one is hosting their world the other can see it and select it to connect to. However, neither are able to successfully connect to the other.

    They are able to connect to each other off mobile when they use my and my wife's Windows 10 PCs. All of these devices are on the same network. The PCs connect for LAN multiplayer weather they are configured to connect to the network via WiFi or wired to the network.

    On the iPads I have:

    1. Reset Network Settings
    2. Updated iOS
    3. Updated Minecraft
    4. They have unique MS accounts
    5. Restarted the iPads
    6. Stared at them with intense frustration
    7. Closed all apps
    8. Given up and surrendered my time to explore Skyrim...
    Any suggestions would be appreciated...

    You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your account is set up

    This is for normal worlds hosted on other devices on my local area network. I've tested hosting worlds on android tablets, android phones, ipads, and a dedicated bedrock server running on my PC. In all cases, the mobile devices are able to connect to other
    multiplayer worlds on my LAN, but the XBox shows the "Your friends are not playing Minecraft right now" message despite being able to see the other worlds (as indicated by the count under the friends tab).

    I seem to be having the same issue. I'm running Minecraft Win10 edition on one laptop and trying to connect to anothers lan game. They can connect to mine, but i can't connect to theirs. Anyone else had this issue?
