    minecraft invites not working


    my daughter sent an invite to play to a family member and it will not let him join. He recieves the invite but it says "connection failed. Connection to server was lost" I have checked the settings and tried removing and readding him (and having him remove
    and readd her). But he is not the only one. It does it to everyone on her friends list. So i tried it on my profile and i am having the same issue. Please help.

    Invites not working

    This happens to me and a lot of other users.

    Go to network settings through the guide.

    Then click your network if it's not selected.

    Hit Configure Network.

    Press the right bumper once.

    Then scroll down and click restore to factory defaults.

    Once that is done go back to network settings and click on your network and type in your WEP key or code for your internet.

    Let it connect.

    You are done!

    Invites not working

    There have been multiple occasions where I receive an invite that doesn't show up on my console and only shows up on my phone. I'm sure you are aware of this issue, but just in case.

    Minecraft Realms works a little different. You invite the player to join your realm or you give them the invite code. Thus it won't be a random player.

    Also, what device are you using in playing Minecraft.

    Invite to game is greyed out

    We called xbox support and they had us unplug the xbox and that worked for one game of minecraft, then it stopped working again and the invite was greyed out again. We will try calling again.

    Hi tashyb33!

    To make sure, are you using the steps in the
    Realms Overview     under "How to invite other players to your Realm", for that?

    Also, do you see any issue receiving invitations to other players' Minecraft Realms? Are you able to invite those friends to play in other games normally, when you try?
    The issue is that nobody on minecraft can invite other people, because the invite doesn’t send for anyone.
