    Minecraft installation issue, refuses to install after updates


    Every Minecraft has an update it doesn't do so, and after it doesn't work I uninstall it and when I go to re install it says installation stopped. I've been with Microsoft support for about 10 hours total and still no fix.

    Refuse the update. Start the game after installation and it will then install and should work

    Recently I bought Mortal Kombat 11 ultimate on disc.

    Since you have a disc drive, you have a One S.

    If you look at it, is it downloading an update? Try installing and refusing the update. Install the update after the game has installed by starting the game.

    Do you get any information or error message when trying to install the app? As my app refused to install but once I cancelled after updating it somehow had installed it anyway after leaving for a few hours. It just hadn't told me it was installed. I would
    suggest trying to do this and check recently installed section in your menu bar just to confirm.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with the game. We recommend first to check in my games and apps under ready to install, see if you see the actual Minecraft Xbox one edition. If you see it there, uninstall the beta, then install the full
    game of Minecraft. Have heard of this after an update, from some gamers with same issue.
