Minecraft - i am confuse

Hello,

i have mincraft explorers pack for xbox one, it looks different from the minecraft my friends has,

i see that there are several version of minecraft, starter and master

what is the different between explorer and starter (it looks like i have the game, right?)

also, if i wish to play online with my friend do i need an xbox live gold licence?

The explorer pack includes the base game and the explorer pack which consists of: Chinese Mythology Mashup, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle and Beasts Skin Pack, and Campfire Tales Skin Pack.

The starter pack includes the base game and 700 minecoins, mash-ups, texture packs, skin packs and the starter pack which consists of: Greek Mythology Mash-up, Plastic Texture Pack, Skin Pack 1, and Villains Skin Pack).

And yes, Xbox Live Gold is necessary to play with friends.

For help with the Rewards program, it's best to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. Once you complete an offer (really about 96 hours after), credits should show as pending on the MyRewards section of the rewards site. Credits are deposited
into your Microsoft account balance as cash by the following 15th or 30th of the month after you have at least 5,000 credits pending. If you have at least 1,000 pending (but less than 5,000), you can request a deposit and they will be deposited on the date
listed on the site at the time that you make the request. The MyRewards section of the site will also show you your statement which will include a list of all offers you've completed as well as any deposits that have taken place.
