Minecraft how to build on X-Box one

My son got MineCraft for X BOX one.

He likes to build, but the only thing that works is the story mode. He doesn't like that. And he does nog understand good enough English to understand.

I cannot find a manual on the internet.

Is there some who knows how you can put the building mode on and not the story mode. Or is there any one who has a manual, with steps, so I can tell him how to use it.

Problem with upgrading my Minecraft Xbox edition to Minecraft Live edition

Hello! 28.12.2017 i bought x-box one x and Minecraft xbox one edition on CD disk. When i saw message about possibility of upgrading my Minecraft to Minecraft Live version, i played nearly 5 hours or more, but still can not upgrade my Minecraft to Live version.

How can i upgrade my game for free now?

Minecraft DLC I purchased not transferring

Hello. A while back I heard about a program that would allow you to purchase DLC on the X-Box 360 version of Minecraft and that this DLC would then transfer to the X-Box One version once you purchased Minecraft for the X-Box One. Unfortunately, for me,
this does not seem to be the case. I followed the directions listed here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/games/minecraft-dlc-save-transfer , but
to no avail. Also, I should note that when I purchased Minecraft: X-Box One Edition, I purchased it for $5 since I own the X-Box 360 Edition. I have waited several days since my purchase of Minecraft: X-Box One Edition to see if the issue would resolve
itself, but it unfortunately has not. I know for fact that I have purchased each of the Mash-Up packs, several texture packs, and a few skin packs on the X-Box 360 version, but for whatever reason, I cannot download any of them for free as advertised. When
I go to Manage Game I cannot see any DLC, and when I go to See All Available DLC it asks me to purchase the things that I have already purchased on the X-Box 360. I would simply like to have this issue resolved and be able to use the content on my X-Box One.

It sounds as though you purchased Minecraft Story Mode instead of regular Minecraft. Story Mode is just a Minecraft story, there is no building. You would need Minecraft in order to build.

Whenever I select that I used X-Box it gives me two options. 1. X-Box 360 2. X-Box One. I didn't use any X-Box's on this account.

But I was wondering how much evidence I need to get my account back. I filled in 4 passwords but that seems that you need more evidence. I didn't use skype, I didn't use outlook I didn't use an X-Box 360 or X-Box one and the only thing I bought was Minecraft when it still belonged to mojang.

Hello thank you for the information Yes now it is clear, we have the previous version Minecraft X Box One edition and when we try to install the new Minecraft, it is on the Store with a price for buying

Is there any option to contact with the store for check if we could download as the promotion by free? We have a lot of hundred of hours payed in the Minecraft X Box one

Oops my bad, you are totally right. I haven't watched the character building thing yet, probably tonight. I'm not real sure about how it will adapt across the platforms. It is going to be for PC platform only. That means X-Box one will use it's new capability
of internet access to be a virtual PC I think as their saying we'll be able to play it on the X-Box one. Maybe. I would think any PC should be able to load it. Mac's included.
