    I received an Xbox 1s two years ago as a Christmas gift and never thought much of keeping the code for Minecraft that came with my Xbox. I am currently trying to get the Bedrock edition on my computer as my parents are divorcing and the Xbox is staying at my dad's house. I've bought the pocket edition of Minecraft on my iPad and phone and I used to have a code for my Xbox. is there a way I can get that code back? Or I can get the Bedrock edition on my laptop for free?

    And if it is a Minecraft gift card:

    Go to the Minecraft gift card redemption page.

    Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to use to play Minecraft.

    Find the redemption box that matches the game version on your gift card.

    Enter the code and click Submit.

    Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to use to play Minecraft.

    Follow the link on the confirmation screen to install Minecraft.

    I got a gift code for Minecraft, however after redeeming it sent me to the "buy now" page and I can't download the game

    The code was definitely for PC, it was listed as "Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC" in the gift notification email

    My friend gift me minecraft but his region and i are different.
    I don't know to able to accept the gift code.
    You cant. Your friend will have to request a refund for the code and purchase a code for you that is meant for your region. The region of the code must match the region of your account.
