    Minecraft get rid of Minecraft beta for Windows 10


    My son decided to download Minecraft beta because he wanted to see the goats. Now he wants to go back to the regular game.

    The Xbox Insider Hub has 3 troubleshooting "solutions." None of these worked. Eventually I found a site with a downloadable *.exe file for version 1.14.30. I hoped by installing this I could get rid of the beta and then update to the current version through
    the Microsoft App Store. The App Store goes into an endless loop of downloading and installing. When I close the App Store, it is still version 1.14.30.

    I have uninstalled Minecraft and then tried to re-install from the App Store. It installs version 1.14.30.

    I have tried on 2 different computers using the same account, and the current version 1.16.201 is installed.

    I just went through all of the steps at this link.

    This time it installed the beta version.

    How do I get the current (non-beta) version to install on this computer?

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.
