    Gamertag on xbox says that it cant be more than 12characters long so i chose spehcolector but in minecraft my name is spehcollector2 so i want too change my ingame user ame to specollector9 and i dont know how to do it.

    If anyone knows i would really appriciate if you tell me.

    How can I only change my display name/classic gamertag

    Your Minecraft name is integrated with your gamertag so what ever your gamertag is, that will be your Minecraft name and it is already fixed unless you make changes to your gamertag.

    Rest assured that the Xbox profile gamertag does not have anything to do with your Minecraft Java gamertag, they are stored on different databases and different servers.

    When you sign in on the Minecraft website it does show that you own Java Edition, right?
