Minecraft Game Save

Hi there,

I was playing Minecraft on my xbox one (Not the xbox one edition, the other one it suggested I installed)

I was on creative mode yesterday and played for a good solid 8 - 9 hours. I was unwell and it was just a cool relaxing thing to do for the day (I got off and saved a few times throughout that time for breaks). I got on today to show someone the amazing stuff
I did except most of it has just disappeared. Not an old save either but rather like it only remembered the most recent 10 minutes of stuff I did and everything between the beginning to the end has just disappeared for absolutely no reason.

My question is how do I get my most recent save back? Is there a save log I can access because it looks like its corrupted my save. If it has I'm certainly not bothering with this game anymore, an 8 hour set back is a major disappointment in my books.

Minecraft Xbox One

Hi,
My 7 year old son has spent many hours on Minecraft for Xbox One creating numerous worlds.
A few days ago he couldn't load up any of his "worlds", on each saved world it used to show a snapshot of the world but this has been replaced with just the box standard Minecraft block symbol.
When you press 'A' to load a world you can see 'A' flash at bottom but it does nothing, same with all saves.
If he creates a new world saves and exits game and goes back in then it is there but when he goes in the next day that save has went same way as the rest.
Anyone experienced this and have any solutions?
I have tried clearing cache and resetting xbox by holding power button etc.
I have also deleted the game and re-installed (without deleting the saved game info) and same its doesn't clear the issue.
Would this be a cloud issue? I haven't setup any saving to cloud that I am aware of but Minecraft does mention "syncing" when starting up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as really feel for my lad he has spent hours and hours creating some great things but its not worth playing if he cant save a game now...............

Can anyone please list all the Minecraft games in release by date? We are away to buy a couple for our daughter for Xmas, but confused which ones are new or seasons etc

Actually we have already bought one which is Minecraft Xbox One Edition

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

The developer website doesn't offer much help at all, it's not even easy to post on the website either. I just want to find out how to find my save. I've lost so many hours and I want a quick fix to regain what I did.

This exact thing happened to my son on a few different occasions on the One and PS3.

We were never able to get anything back. After the fourth time it happened, he quit playing it.

Despite reaching out to the developer, they couldn’t help. It’s just one of those times when a developer doesn’t know how to make a game properly.

This is automatic when you open the game. You truly cannot manage the saves manually. If the save was lost, and the system did not automatically put it back when you turned it back on, it most likely the save on the cloud was not the one you were looking for.

On this link, you can check how to force the cloud save on your game, but it is not recommended if you do not know if your saves were automatically being uploaded:

Select See All.

Navigate to either Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons or Minecraft Legends in your games list.

Press the Select button to open the Manage Game menu.

There are many reasons for why this is happening, one reason that comes to mind is that there is corrupted save data: It's possible that the save data for your Minecraft game on your main profile has become corrupted, preventing the game from loading. Try deleting the saved data for Minecraft on your main profile and start the game again.

There is cross purchases, but cross saves is different. To access any worlds on Minecraft on a different platform, then you would need a subscription to Minecraft Realms. Otherwise local saves would only be available on the game.

I restored my Xbox as I was having start-up problems and when I restored the system I downloaded all my Minecraft save games. Now Minecraft says all the saved games are corrupted and are unplayable.

I’ve tried restarting the system, reinstalling Minecraft, downloading the saved games again - nothing has worked.

I started a new game and then I thought maybe I should do another restore, thinking maybe there was a problem with the restore. Well now it turns out that the new save game is also corrupted after the restore - this tells me the cloud save capability for
Minecraft is a pile of garbage.

Is there a way of fixing these games or downloading them from the cloud so they can be fixed elsewhere?
