Minecraft from xbox 1 to PC

Just a friendly reminder though that the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox consoles can be installed and played through Xbox consoles only, there is a different license for PC.

Every platform of Minecraft is a separate purchase, though your account is usable on any of them

Minecraft 1 was a port from the PC. Minecraft 2, if there were such a thing, could certainly be something more--it doesn't have to be a port from a PC game. The Xbox version outsold the PC version in 2012, taking in $100 million on the console alone. There
is more than enough money out there and more than enough incentive to generate a new enhanced version of the new Xbox console.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have a couple questions on Minecraft.

1. Do license transfer from Xbox to PC?-- The license does not transfer from Xbox to PC as they are different platforms. So you would need to purchase the Minecraft for Windows 10.
2. Unable to join world--We recommend our
   multiplayer solution.

Minecraft will not cost more than the pc version. The xbox one is a pc, we will likely see an equivalent version from the pc on xbox one.
