    I bought minecraft for windows 10 on the Microsoft Store on my PC. How can I move my subscription to my Mac from my Microsoft account?

    i bought minecraft java and bedrock together but when i open minecraft i can only play java edition, how do i get onto bedrock?

    Bedrock edition is not available if you're using MacOS, only for Windows devices.

    The only way to access to that edition if you're on Mac is:

    A. Create a Windows virtual machine and install the game from there (depending on your Mac hardware the performance is not going to be good)

    B. If you are using an Intel Mac, you create a new Windows partition using bootcamp.

    Or if you have a Windows PC. You just need to install Minecraft launcher via Microsoft Store / Xbox app and install the game there

    To answer your question - Yes, you will have to purchase Minecraft for Windows 10 again, in spite of owning it on Xbox consoles. The PC version of Minecraft was the original one before Microsoft purchased Minecraft from Mojang so it's not one of our Play
    Anywhere titles.

    That said, if you previously owned Minecraft on PC or on Mac,
    you can get a free copy for Windows 10    .

    The Microsoft store is not supported on mac. If you want to install minecraft on mac go to minecraft.net and download the DMG installer. If you want bedrock edition or to install it through the microsoft store you will need to use bootcamp to install windows. The best way to get it is through the minecraft website.
