Minecraft friends not showing

Ive been playing Minecraft with my daughter for about 3-4 weeks. Now for some reason im not showing up on her friends list and shes not on mine. I was playing in her world but i cant access it withhout her on.

Ive redownloaded the app(iphone).

any help would be greatly appreicated

Also when my friends are playing Minecaft it says my friends are not playing Minecraft. I have them as a friend and they have me as a friend, when they are playing Minecraft, their name does not show up in the friends tab. I need help.

Please answer the following questions to see how we can proceed :

Which minecraft edition is your friend playing?
Which device they're using?

So, is this happening only with this specific friend?
If he/she try doing the opposite, play in your world, the issue persists?

It won't mention cross platform, it will simply show you which friends are online, if any.

I assume its the Minecraft Bedrock edition? https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/minecraft (shown toward the bottom of this page)

I have activated all these settings and my child’s profile still cannot add friends on minecraft. I can join his world but he cannot join my world. He shows 1 friend on the friends tab but it doesn’t show any joinable friends or my world inside the friends
tab. I have even changed all settings to allow everything (defeats the purpose) and I still cannot add friends on his account. Please help!!!!!!
