Minecraft for Xbox One Attempting to Que a 0KB Update

I turned on my Xbox One this evening to play some Minecraft and was met with it asking me to que it for a 0KB update, for a version "0.0.0.0". Once actually in the que it turns into an update sized at around 2GB, and continues to get stuck at 50% even after continuous cancellations and restarts, as well as restarting the Xbox itself. The Xbox has about 60% storage remaining, while the additional external 1TB hard drive has well over 70% of its space left. If anyone could tell me why this is happening and how to fix it, that would be awesome. Thank you!

I was having this same issue, and I got the update to go away when I closed out Minecraft on my Switch. The switch version was using my microsoft account, so it may be that your account is signed in on Switch or PC.

If you turn off your internet connection on the Xbox you can play minecraft and while in minecraft you can go to settings and turn on your connection and it'll work but if you leave mincraft for too long you have to repeat the steps again

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I tried both of those options and neither rof them worked, I'm not sure what to do as Minecraft still wants me to update a 0KB update. It even duplicates itself.

I cant do the second option as i dont have my login info anymore, but i have tried resetting it. But the thing is when it goes through, the V0.0.0.0 minecraft disappears, my Minecraft is so bugged out I think, that all I get is Mojang screen, then the infinite darkness screen, stuck there even for hours
