    Minecraft for xbox one acts like a trial version


    I downloaded minecraft for xbox one because i had it on my 360 and played it for a couple weeks. The xbox live servers went down and it said that I had to put in a CD. so i re-downloaded the game and now it acts like a trial version even though it doesn't
    say trial in the name. I have uninstalled then re-installed it twice, refreshed my Xbox's cash, and made sure my network wasn't the problem. I don't know what else to do and I don't want to have to buy the game.

    We upgraded to 12 month xbox live account to unlock trial version of Minecraft but Minecraft still running in trial version?

    I got my son the minecraft game using my credit card on my account on his Xbox. When I bought a second Xbox my son downloaded his profile but the Minecraft game shows to be a trial version. I have deleted it from his profile and re-installed it but it remains
    listed as a trial version. Why does his profile show to have the full version on one Xbox, but a trial version on the second Xbox? It shows as a full version on my profile on both consoles.

    If you bought the xbox one minecraft bundle it should have a code or a hard disk copy. If not then you just have the trial version and not the full version of the game.

    So you actually own the full version of the game but when you are offline it tells you to download the full game and it acts like the trial version?

    If so, delete the game, clear your cache and redownload it.

    The mini games for minecraft was only on the xbox one edition.

    The newer version which is Bedrock edition does not have the mini games as the other one. Instead they have servers that acts as mini games.

    To know the difference is the xbox one edition will say "Xbox One edition" under the minecraft name.

    While the bedrock edition will just say minecraft.

    You might have gotten the newer version while your friends still has the older version of the game on Xbox one.

    I should have mentioned, this thread was the closest relevant title to my issue, since Minecraft reverted to trial and all of my other games are acting like I don't own a copy!
