    Minecraft for windows not able to install?


    I have recently been given a copy of Minecraft for windows (bedrock) from the most recent update, as I had owned java previously. However. I can not seem to install the copy at all. Java edition works completely fine, but every time I try and install windows edition, the installation bar just says error, and I can not click the pause or cancel buttons for the installation. I have read similar threads about this issue and tried their solutions, but none of them have helped. I have:

    I installed the Minecraft launcher through the Microsoft store, which did not help.

    uninstalled and reinstalled through the Xbox app on windows, which did not help.

    uninstalled and reinstalled both the Microsoft Store and the Xbox app, along with Xbox gaming services, which did nothing.

    Used PowerShell to reinstall the Microsoft store and Xbox app packages, which did nothing.

    Changed the install locations (i have a partitioned drive) for Microsoft apps, and neither drive works.

    I also clean-booted my system and that did not help either.

    when I try to install windows edition without the launcher through the Xbox app, I get the error code 0x80070015, saying my storage has become disconnected.

    i just want to play Minecraft cross-platform....

    yes, it is. the latest update after checking is for windows antivirus.

    I have only recently started using the xbox app, i have solitaire installed and it runs fine. I havent tried installing a more complex game.

    Thank you for the help. Unfortunately, i am unable to reset my pc. It gives me an error and tells me no changes were made. I tried booting with system repair and it told me it could not complete the action. I also used the CMD window and ran SFC and DISM and nothing was found in either. Im starting to believe this is greater than Minecraft, any tips?

    looks like when i tried to uninstalla and reinstall solitaire, it gave me 0x80073cf9 error.
