Minecraft for windows isn't full game

I bought java awhile ago and recently switched my account to a microsoft account and read online that when you have java you get minecraft for windows hell I even downloaded the store launcher yet it still tells me to buy the game and waste another $26 just to play the full game even though I already bought it. help please.

Just a friendly reminder though that according to Mojang "Coming Summer 2022 (Northern Hemisphere's summer), new purchases of Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft for Windows (the PC version of “Bedrock Edition”) will be offered as a bundle for one price. At this release, existing owners of either game will be granted an entitlement to download both games on one Microsoft account."

Minecraft on Xbox and on Windows 10 are separate. Yes, they're the same Play Together version but they're 2 different games to purchase. Minecraft for Xbox is in the GamePass, but Minecraft for Windows 10 isn't

I have already installed Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, but it says that i don't have full version. When i'm trying to login to Xbox Live It's saying that i must buy full version of Minecraft. Im purcharsed Minecraft Premium Today and i want to get the
Windows 10 Edition. I'm get my copy on the mojang site and i'm reddemed a code. In Microsoft Stroe it's says that i have already game but in the game it's saying taht i don't have full version.

Hi Rodney I'd love to clarify.

Unfortunately, you would need the Windows version of the game and vice versa, if you have Java version, you'll get the Windows.

Please note that Minecraft isn't Xbox play anywhere, so if you have the game on console, you would still need the Windows version that you can purchase here: https://www.xbox.com/games/store/minecraft-for-...
