    Minecraft for Windows Installation "Error"


    I downloaded the Minecraft Launcher and am attempting to install Minecraft for Windows and every time I click "Install", it has me select the drive to install it and then immediately afterward, the word "Error" appears in the lower left of the launcher next to settings. I'm unable to click the Pause or the "X" in the lower right of the screen. Restarting the app doesn't work.

    In fact, every time I try to do this, when I close the Minecraft Launcher, I cannot reopen it without going into the task manager to End the Task of the Minecraft Launcher.

    I'm able to confirm that I have purchased Minecraft for Windows and that I have more than sufficient hard drive space for it. I am unable to get any sort of error code for any further diagnostic information.

    Any assistance in this would be helpful.

    Miencraft for windows 10 not working

    It shows MInecraft for Windows but If I click install it shows error, but I have it on the XBOX interface for windows, is the same as just minecraft for windows?

    CLiP license id does not match the device in the bound device license

    I don't get an error code accept for "an error occurred on our end" and a manual install also does not work.

    Also is their three packages for the minecraft launcher?

    One that is for both java edition and inecragt for Windows

    The second java edition

    The third minecraft for windows.

    I did eventually get a version to work since the old launcher redirected me to the new launcher which I installed and did let me install minecraft for windows version.

    However the store version which downloads java edition and something else never worked.

    Not by reseting not by uninstalling and reinstalling not by downloading from the minecraft website and manually downloading.

    and what is the error codes you get when trying to sign in?

    Also do you have the Xbox app installed on your device?

    Got it installed after getting this error. For some reason it doesn't like being installed on my D: drive.

    What I did to get it working:

    Uninstall the Minecraft Launcher

    Reinstall it

    Go to install Minecraft for Windows

    When it asks what drive to install it to, select C:

    You are getting this error on Windows, right? Are you trying to play Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows?

    Do you get this error when trying to launch Minecraft or when trying to install it?
